I only gave it 3 stars because there was a lack of rice dishes. It is a beautiful book, great pictures, recipes are for large rice cookers or crock pots. I have a mini rice cooker. I did not send it back because it is such a nice cook book, its going to be a wonderful gift for a friend who has a large rice cooker.
It has great sounding recipes. Can't wait to try them.

Not for a simple, push-button rice cooker. This recipe book is for rice cookers where you can adjust the settings from "cook" to "warm" manually. Lots of ingredients and steps too. One review said this is a good book for beginners. I disagree. Lots of steps and ingredients. Much happier with the Free Aroma cookbook that was made for a simple rice cooker.
