What I did first was take a spiral notebook and wrote down what was in the book, so I didn't have to make corrections on the book itself. The book has you thinking of things in your past. your parents, grandparents and siblings. Circles around your childhood, things you did as a teenager, your schools you attended, marriage,your children. Things you when through, the ups and downs in your life.It's a great way to give the history of yourself and pass it down to your children or grandchildren..
I can’t say enough great things about this book. For me it covers almost everything. I am ordering one for my seven nieces and sister in laws. Brought back so many memories. Both happy and sad. But it’s my life and I am really enjoying going over it. My close friend and I have talked nonstop about this book. Things we did 40 years ago that still has us laughing today. Such a treat!
Good book, lots of questions to make you think. But for a keepsake type book, a hard cover would be so much nicer.
This is a great workbook and is well structured. The quality of the paper is very good and will last the test of time. While it is designed in black and white, it is very well put together. Having purchased several of these books, there are only 2-3 companies who provide quality journals that have value for money.

This book seems suited for someone who wants to document their own life story or their entire family. It’s a bit more formal approach than I was looking for - I wanted a book that would give my kids an idea of what I was like growing up, advice I’d leave behind, etc. I ended up returning this book because of that, but the book itself is well done, nice, and easy to follow.
I bought this for my husband's grandmother for Christmas. Not only did the whole family love how great an idea it was, I'm also excited to read it one day. She is a sweet woman who came to America from Slovakia at 16, by herself. I can't wait to see what she says!
