My second math book on paradoxes.This one is a little simplified, but that is not a bad thingwhen you are trying to understand things thatdon't always seem to make logical sense.Dr. Grim got me interested in mathematical paradoxesand their philosophical implicationsand it appears not many mathematicians are aware these problems exist!I liked the style and contentand only wish there was more of it!
and the content is very stimulating. In particular, the paradox depicted on the cover is hard to explain, I won't give away how it works, only explain that it isn't really a paradox in the philosophical sense. But if you want all the details about this and other paradoxes, then I definitely recommend this book. I will be using it for years, to help on my future project, titled, The Dimensional Mathematics Toolkit (to be published around 2021).

This is an interesting book on mathematical paradoxes. Most of the paradoxes are connected to topics which we have read in our school days. Not much higher mathematics is needed except love for math and a curious mind !
I had read most of these paradoxes when I was in high school, but it is nice to have them easily accessible in one volume, and it is enjoyable to read the one paradox I had heard but not really understood in details: The Parrondo's Paradox.
From the opening pages, the discussion is surprisingly original and thorough --- presents and clarifies issues not well explained in college courses.
